The emergence of Bitcoin in 2008 marked the beginning of a technological revolution that led to the development of blockchain technology, laying the foundation for smart contracts. These applications, fundamental to the decentralized applications (Dapps) ecosystem,...
Onboard router for railway communications
Introduction
The Celer Rail, like all Celer-series products, is Teldat's next generation multi-service communications platform for railways vehicles. It provides 5G cellular connectivity, with fallback to LTE, and wireless Wi-Fi 6 protected by the latest generation of Teldat firewall. It also allows artificial intelligence applications with Google's Coral, and eSIM for remote SIM provisioning.
The hardware design complies with railway regulations for installations on lightweight and high-speed trains or trams and is certified for railways requirements: EN 50155 for environmental, EMC, and shock and vibration; and EN 45545 for Fire&Smoke.
Competitive Advantages
IDS/IPS with +800 firms, webfiltering, NGFW and trafic analycer with multiple configurations all embedded in the router.
5G-NR (fallback LTE Cat. 19) with Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax/ac/b/g/n in dual band (2,4GHz ans 5 GHz) AP and client modes.
Dual SIM for active-standby, plus eSIM for dynamic operator configuration.
With the Google Coral chip the Celer has the state-of-art AI in-vehicule applications and its future updates.
Description
Celer Rail is the best way to have onboard high-performance connectivity protected with a strong OT IDS/IPS next generation firewall. In fact, while it offers stable and secure broadband cellular connectivity for train-to-ground communication, with the NGFW features, the Celer Rail also provides secure Wi-Fi service to the passengers as well as secure networks for the Rail operators in use cases like, onboard Digital Surveillance System for CCTV, Passenger Information Systems (PIS), tracking services for positioning information and geofences.
Celer Rail is compatible with the Teldat's zero touch provisioning and out-of-band eSIM management service application SENDA (Service for ENhanced Deployment & Administration). With SENDA you can select edge devices, enhanced deployment (universal zero-touch provisioning) and management (out-of-band administration), allowing device provisioning, management and troubleshooting, even in the event of total customer network failure.
Additionally Celer-Rail has AI embedded with Google Coral, with use cases like computer vision for undesired object recognition for passengers safety, as well as predictive system analytics and maintenance.
