Madrid, Spain,ย 5th Novemberย โ Teldat, a leading provider of WAN Edge Infrastructure solutions, has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the โMagic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure.โ
Teldat CEO Ignacio Villaseca said โWe consider that being acknowledged within the Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure is confirmation of how Teldat has positively progressed in our companyโs mission to offer our customers new and up to date SD-WAN solutions, that will help them in their digital transformation.โ
Indeed, Gartner states as a โStrategic Planning Assumptionโ that โby year-end 2023, more than 90% of WAN edge infrastructure refresh initiatives will be based on virtualized customer premises equipment (vCPE) platforms or software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) software/appliances versus traditional routers (up from less than 40% today)โ.
Ignacio Villaseca goes onto explain, โthis is why Teldat has invested so many of our company resources in developing our SD-WAN solutions, especially in R&D, as we believe that SD-WAN solutions are going to go beyond traditional WAN routers for large corporations.โ With this investment, Teldatโs mission is to keep on progressing as our assumption is that all segments of the remote networks (WAN, LAN, voice, etc.) are moving towards a virtualized or software defined (SD) state. Both for large corporations, as well as SMEโsโ.
